My name is Marc Vizuete and I am originally from Granollers, a city located 30 min from Barcelona in Spain.
At just 16 years old I had the opportunity to work in a small private theatre in Granollers. In this venue, "Teatre de Ponent" I had the opportunity to learn and work as an LX technician and as a Stage Manager during weekends when I was off from High School. These 4 years of learning and working allowed me to up-knowledge all the tech behind a production.
My journey as a performer started in the artistic gymnastics club team in Granollers competing in several national competitions plus also as part of the trampoline team. At the same time, I trained in trapeze, aerial silks and clowning at a circus school in Granollers.
A few years later I began my journey at Granollers Conservator of Music training in singing, vocal harmony, musical composition, musicology, music history and music theory: playing transverse flute and piano. During this time, I started my first steps in the musical theatre world training in "Yukali" and "Escola Memory" both of them in Barcelona.
Later on, I trained in dance at the "Escola Swing in Granollers" focusing on Jazz, Ballet and Commercial Dance. Some years later I decided I wanted to become a professional musical theatre performer so I started training in "Escola de Dansa i Comèdia Musical Coco Comin" completing a 3-year professional Musical Theatre Program. My training there was focused on Broadway Jazz, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Traditional Spanish Dance, Musical Theatre history, vocal harmony, singing, acting and musicology.
After graduating, I joined "Som-Hi Dansa" dance school in Barcelona to keep training in modern jazz, ballet and commercial jazz.
In Spain, I worked professionally as a dancer, dance captain and choreographer for different theatre productions, television shows, TV commercials and music videos. I also worked as a Jazz dance instructor at "Escola Swing" and "Agueda Murillo", both in Granollers.
Continuing my training, I was awarded a scholarship, in the United Kingdom, at the London Studio Centre, where I graduated as part of the Jazz Company, graduated in Musical Theatre. Now based in London I have worked consistently throughout the United Kingdom and internationally.
